Welcome to blue-floor.com – a small design studio/scene shop located in Easton, Pa serving New York, Regional, and Educational Theatre. 

We are a group who work together, as co-designers and technicians. This enables us to “play to our strengths” with each person bringing different skills, perspectives and resources to the project. Our favorite kind of work is with “quirky” pieces and/or unusual production environments- we find the challenges inspire us to be the most creative. Our experience includes musicals, comedy, classical drama, opera, theatre for young audiences, and new and experimental pieces.

We are comfortable with a wide variety of spaces, budgets, staffs and schedules. We take pride in working with our clients and making their visions a reality, while staying on time and within budget. No job is too small (but some are too big).

In addition to the scenery and lighting services we provide directly, there are a number of  “blue-floor consortium” designers and technicians with whom we work frequently. Through those affiliations we can provide certified rigging services, costume design and construction, properties design and construction, and sound engineering services.
